PositionCommissioning Project ManagerReports toSenior Commissioning Project ManagerLocationJeffersonville, OhioSalary Range$105,000 - $140,000We consider several factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates.Superior is looking for a Commissioning Project Manager who will be responsible for leading the planning, execution, and technical oversight of Quality Assurance and Commissioning activities on hyperscale and mission critical electrical infrastructure projects.This role bridges field execution, engineering, project operations and client stakeholders to ensure electrical systems are installed, tested, and commissioned safely, accurately, and in alignment with contract documents and owner standards. This role is based on a jobsite in Jeffersonville, Ohio.Key ResponsibilitiesLead QA and Commissioning strategy from preconstruction through turnoverInterpret and manage commissioning plans and turnover sequencingEnsure alignment between field installation, design intent, and owner QA/Cx requirementsPartner with Project Management, Engineering, and Field Supervision to reduce rework and startup riskServe as the technical escalation point for electrical startup, system integration issues, and schedule impactsCoordinate with equipment vendors, third-party commissioning agents, and owner representativesEnsure electrically safe work conditions during testing and commissioningRepresent the QA/Cx department in owner and executive meetingsProvide technical clarity on commissioning strategies and schedule impactsDesired Character TraitsYou're a self-starter, highly organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detailYou're technically curious and seek to understand how systems functionYou're a clear and direct communicator, able to simplify complex processes and to a diverse group of individualsYou demonstrate leadership by fostering collaboration, guiding others, setting direction, and providing clarity on expectationsRequired ExpertiseRequired: At least 5 years in electrical construction, commissioning, and mission critical environmentsRequired: Strong technical understanding of medium and low voltage power distribution, including switchgear, UPS systems, generators, and redundantly fed power systemsRequired: Experience in quality control, testing, and commissioning of electrical systemsRequired: Experience within field supervision, commissioning, and/or mission critical environmentsRequired: Detailed understanding of NFPA, NEC, NFPA 70E, NETA, and other applicable codes and standardsBonus Points: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction ManagementBonus Points: Proficiency in construction management software such as CX Alloy, Procore, ACC, and BIM 360Our BenefitsHealth Insurance: We pay 100% of the insurance premium to cover you, your spouse, and eligible childrenDental Plan: We pay 100% of the insurance premium to cover you, your spouse, and eligible childrenLong-Term Disability, Short-Term Disability, and Life Insurance: We pay 100% of the insurance premium to cover you401K Plan: We contribute a portion of your 401K for youVacation/PTO: You receive a minimum of three weeks of PTO per yearHealth Savings Account: We contribute at least $500 to your HSA each yearMaternity and Parental Leave: New parents receive paid time offSuperior is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
