Job DescriptionMaterial Handler / Plant OperatorLocation: Odessa, TXIndustry: Oil & Gas / Drilling FluidsEmployment Type: Full-TimePay: $18.00 – $28.00 per hour, based on experienceJob SummaryThe Material Handler (Plant Operator) is responsible for mixing drilling fluids, handling materials, and maintaining plant and warehouse operations. This role supports daily production, shipping, and receiving activities in an oilfield environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMix drilling fluids according to written instructionsLoad and unload trucks safely and efficientlyOperate forklifts and other material-handling equipmentStrap, stage, and secure product for shipmentMaintain accurate records of product volumes, loads shipped, and loads receivedAssist with inventory tracking and documentationKeep the plant, warehouse, and yard areas clean and organizedFollow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environmentQualificationsPrior warehouse, plant, or oilfield experience preferredForklift experience required (certification a plus)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in West Texas conditionsBasic math and record-keeping skillsDependable, safety-minded, and able to follow instructionsWork EnvironmentIndustrial plant settingExposure to dust, chemicals, and outdoor weatherOvertime as needed based on operational demand
