Assistant Construction Manager

Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Construction Manager with 2–3 years of ground-up multifamily construction experience to join our growing team in Los Angeles.The ideal candidate will support the successful execution of multi-family residential projects from ground-up through completion, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence across all phases of construction.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in overseeing the full construction lifecycle of ground-up multi-family residential projectsSupport on-site construction teams with coordination, planning, and executionReview and interpret plumbing, electrical, and structural drawingsMonitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocationEnsure quality control standards are maintained across all tradesCoordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholdersEnforce compliance with safety standards, building codes, and project requirementsProvide regular progress updates and support issue resolution on-siteKey Requirements2–3 years of experience in ground-up multi-family construction (Required)Strong ability to read and understand plumbing, electrical, and structural plansMust have reliable transportationValid driver’s license (Required)Full-time availability (W2 position)Willing to work on-site in Los Angeles, CACore CompetenciesHighly energetic and proactive approach to workStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to perform under pressure and meet deadlinesStrong problem-solving and critical thinking abilitiesHigh emotional intelligence and teamwork mindsetDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsWork ScheduleMonday to Friday7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Los Angeles Time)Full-time (40 hours/week)
