Location: Onsite – Pennsylvania / West Virginia

We are seeking an experienced OT (Operational Technology) Network Engineer to support industrial network environments within the oil & gas sector.
This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing network infrastructure across field sites and operational facilities.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA environments, and network technologies supporting critical infrastructure.
This is a fully onsite role supporting multiple locations across Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and support OT network infrastructure across plant and field environments
Maintain and troubleshoot networks supporting SCADA, PLCs, and industrial control systems
Ensure network reliability, performance, and uptime for operational systems
Implement and support network security best practices within OT environments
Work closely with operations, engineering, and IT teams to support production systems
Monitor network performance and respond to incidents and outages
Support network segmentation, firewalls, and secure remote access solutions
Document network architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures
Required Qualifications
Strong experience in OT/ICS network environments (Oil & Gas preferred)
Hands-on experience with SCADA systems and industrial protocols (Modbus, DNP3, etc.)
Solid networking fundamentals (routing, switching, VLANs, TCP/IP)
Experience with firewalls and network security in OT environments
Familiarity with Cisco, Fortinet, or similar networking technologies
Ability to troubleshoot complex network and system issues in production environments
Willingness to travel locally between sites (if required)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in upstream, midstream, or downstream oil & gas operations
Knowledge of OT cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISA/IEC 62443)
Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP or equivalent
Experience working in regulated or high-availability environments
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
