Job Description Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years CVOR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.Exciting opportunity for experienced Registered Nurses skilled in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures to provide expert care within a large, dynamic hospital setting. This contract role is perfect for nurses seeking to work in a state-of-the-art facility, serving a complex adult cardiac patient population, including CABG, valve and repeat cardiac surgeries, heart failure, ECMO, VAD, heart and lung transplants, PTE, and cardiac trauma.Schedule12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday (7:00 am – 7:00 pm).Call required for all travelers in cardiac surgery (varied days, depending on unit need; block schedules unavailable).Travelers take three 12-hour shifts each week, plus participation in a 24/7 three-layer call rotation (requirements shift every six weeks).Orientation available on 6/1, 6/22, and 6/29 only; no orientation the weeks of 6/8 and 6/15.Required Experience and QualificationsActive RN license with a minimum of two years of recent experience in CVOR settings.Prior travel nursing experience required.Demonstrated proficiency in both scrubbing and circulating for cardiac procedures.Ability to work with a complex adult cardiac patient population.Experience in a high-acuity, Level 1 trauma environment preferred.Comfortable floating between operating rooms (not locations).Willingness and flexibility to participate in required call coverage.Key ResponsibilitiesScrub and circulate for advanced cardiac surgical procedures.Collaborate with interdisciplinary cardiac surgery teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Deliver patient-centered care, ensuring optimal surgical outcomes for complex cardiac cases.Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and best practices.Provide support during heart and lung transplants, ECMO, and VAD cases as needed.If you are an adaptable CVOR nurse ready for a rewarding challenge in a prestigious cardiac surgery environment, apply today to take the next step in your nursing career!#p31
