PackerWieland is hiring a Packer. The Packer will be responsible for assisting with overall operations, including processing products, maintaining inventory, setting up machine stations, and packing outgoing material. This role is located in Texas City, TX and will be fully on-site.Starting Pay: $18.00 per hourSchedule: Monday - Friday 1st shiftPay: WeeklyResponsibilitiesPacker Responsibilities:Create and maintain a safe organized working environmentAssist in reviewing outgoing shipping documents and package productAssist in inspections of product orders for accuracyAssist in loading/unloading packages from trucksReport product discrepancies to managementActively communicate with teammatesOperate forklifts to relocate materialOther Operations tasks as assignedQualificationsPacker Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentUnderstanding of manufacturing industries preferredAbility to work under pressure in fast-paced environmentsAbility to read a tape measureAbility to prioritize multiple projects and deadlinesStrong attention to detail (critical skill)Ability to communicate professionally with customers, coworkers and managementAbility to work as part of a team and offer assistance to teammates when necessaryAbility to work flexible hours as required by the positionJoining Wieland's team gives youBenefits - Starting on Day 1!
