Do you have knowledge of the construction industry?Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Integrated Construction Coordinator I to join our Civil Group to review, provide analysis, management, and resolution of field coordination issues with project team members and participants. Excellent communication skills are necessary as you will interact with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment. Demonstrating the ability to be flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality will be vital for your success. Strong planning and organization skills are critical for completing your tasks.What will you be doing?Planning, implementing, and coordinating Virtual Design and Construction processes through appropriate technology platformsAutodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D to design optimized road and site grading models, alignments, profiles, corridors, grading groups, etc.Working with survey data; communicating with project field teams through Trimble Business Center software to deliver designs to survey equipment.Including, but not limited to Mortenson BIM/VDC uses: existing conditions modeling, cost estimation, phase planning (4D), site analysis, design reviews, 3D visualization, 3D coordination, site utilization planning, construction system design, digital fabrication, 3D control planning, and record modelingProvide point of contact for team members on VDC processes and reports during all phases of constructionDocument work process as it relates to improving and/or changing current company process standardsAs an integrated construction team member, you should be an active participant in Mortenson's Integrated Delivery Advancement Team community of practice – Knowledge sharingYou may need to complete daily work planningHow will you succeed?Completion of beginner or intermediate level of BIM/VDC software trainingDisplaying attention to detail to organize and run multiple project tasksPossess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practicesDemonstrate ability to work in Microsoft Office, project, and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate levelExhibit a positive professional attitude, and strong customer service skillsAbility to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies effectivelyBasic Requirements:Associates or bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology, or equivalent fieldCompletion of beginner or intermediate level of BIM/VDC software trainingDetail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasksPossess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practicesMicrosoft Office, project and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate levelProven positive and professional attitude, and strong customer service skillsAbility to interpret and communicate Mortenson policiesPrevious related internship experience a plusBeginner level software trainingCurrent driver's license#Civil 3D #ArcGIS #Trimble Business CenterA few benefits offered include:(for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week)Medical and prescription drug plans that includes no additional cost vision coverageDental plan401k retirement plan with a generous Mortenson matchPaid time off, holidays, and other paid leavesEmployer paid Life, AD&D, and disability insuranceNo-Cost mental health tool and concierge with extensive work-life resourcesTuition reimbursementAdoption AssistanceGym Membership Discount ProgramThe base pay range for this role is $76,600 - $95,800. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
