C# Developer/Programmer Analyst 3 - Contract Position

Contract Details Contract Length: This is a contract to hire role which means the duration of this contract will be for a minimum of 6 months with the possibility of an extension. Contract to hire. C# Developer Requirements: Green card holder or U.S. citizen. Location & Work Arrangement Local Richmond, VA candidates required. Hybrid Role: Candidate must be able to work on site as needed. The first month will be onsite, then it will go to two days a week remote maximum. About the Role We are searching for a quality C# developer to program, maintain code, and .NET solutions for our business. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, writing, and maintaining C# program code for our future and ongoing projects. You will also contribute to design and planning sessions and formulate approaches for current coding tasks. The ideal candidate will develop high-quality applications in C#, Angular, and SQL Server. Candidates must describe experience with large menu driven business systems, such as claims processing, payroll, medical, or insurance type applications. We do not use APIs. Responsibilities Develop C# .NET solutions for the organization. Create in-house applications using the .NET framework. Debug and maintain written code. Define and organize projects on an ongoing basis. Report and resolve issues related to .NET projects. Identify and handle technical risks and issues. Work in a project team alongside other developers. Provide technical support to stakeholders in the organization. Report on project statuses and developments to senior team members. Participate in project meetings with management and other team members. Requirements C# — 5+ years of experience. .NET 3.1 or higher. Angular — 2+ years (gRPC would be a plus). SQL Server — 3+ years. Visual Studio / Visual Studio Code — 3+ years. Azure DevOps or GitHub for build and deployment. Experience with large menu driven business systems such as claims processing, payroll, medical, or insurance type applications — 5+ years. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to write clean, understandable code. Experience working in an agile environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Bonus: experience in COBOL, PHP, C+, Java, Python, ColdFusion, or other coding languages. Bonus: experience with ColdFusion.
