Lead Teacher/Teacher Assistant

Duties: - Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for children. - Provide a safe and nurturing environment for toddlers and preschool-aged children. - Plan and lead engaging activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. - Use effective behavior management techniques to support positive behavior and address challenging behaviors. - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment. - Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns. - Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and developmental milestones. Skills: - Strong knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in special education. - Ability to create and adapt curriculum to meet the individual needs of each child. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with children and families. - Strong organizational skills to effectively manage classroom activities and documentation.
