Cape Cod Academy (CCA) is a selective, independent, coeducational dayschool educating students in grades K-12. Located on 45 acres inOsterville, MA, Cape Cod Academy serves students &families from townsacross the Cape &just over the bridge. Partner with the leadership team to formulate,develop, implement &evaluate an HR Management strategy to achieve CCA?svision, mission & goals. Help create systems to attract faculty & staff,identify critical needs, &develop core competencies. Support recruitmentefforts for all open positions at CCA to ensure that the organization iseffectively &efficiently sourcing &selecting the right candidates. Thisincludes posting positions, reviewing resumes, conducting screeninginterviews, &coordinating &scheduling additional interviews with theleadership team. Complete reference checks. Coordinate offer details forprospective employees with the Head of School &Director of Finance.Extend offers to prospective candidates. Monitor the completion of allonboarding paperwork of new employees through BerniePortal. Submit&review background checks including (CORI, SORI &SAFIS) to determineemployment eligibility for all employees including coaches &summerstaff. Monitor the 3-year renewal process for the CORI of all existingemployees. Enroll new employees in all elected benefits which mayinclude health, dental, vision, STD, LTD, Life, MA PFML, 403(b), FSA,DCA, Critical Illness, &Accident insurance. Prepare &distributepaperwork to employees for all leaves of absences &coordinate with ourthird party vendor. Identify ways to increase staff retention&productivity, including strategies to enhance employee engagement,regular feedback &coaching. Work with summer program coordinator&aquatic program manager to hire &onboard all summer employees. Completestipend agreements for athletic coaches each season in collaborationwith the Athletics Director. Prepare paperwork for terminating employees&conduct exit interviews. Complete terminations of all insurances onvendor portals as well as BerniePortal. Complete accident reports &filewith CCA?s Worker?s Compensation vendor to ensure employees receiveappropriate services. Review &update the employee handbook on an annualbasis in coordination with leadership In collaboration with the Head ofSchool, manage the production &distribution of yearly employmentagreements. Update vendor portals & BerniePortal on an annual basis.Support the effective &efficient administration of the performancemanagement process. Job Requirements Qualifications: Strong Businessacumen &leadership abilities. Working knowledge of employment laws&other Compliance Requirements. Ability To Listen &probe To Understandunderlying needs and/or root cause of an issue. Ability to providethoughtful, progressive &strategic guidance. Experience in analysis,critical decision making, project management &process improvement.Strong interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills. StrongTechnology Skills (google Platform Experience Helpful Including Gmail&google docs). Outstanding judgement, sensitivity &high discretion.Experience working in a school environment is preferred but notNecessary.
