This individual will help foster spiritual growth, engage with congregants of all ages, and support the church’s vision through organized ministry activities, outreach, and daily operations.⸻Key ResponsibilitiesMinistry & Program Support* Participate in planning and leading church programs, including Sunday School, AWANA, youth group, small groups, and special events. * Provide spiritual guidance, discipleship, and pastoral care as appropriate.* Equip volunteers and ministry teams to carry out church activities with excellence and faithfulness.Worship & Service Involvement* Collaborate with worship leaders and service teams to support weekly services.* Ensure ministries function smoothly and align with biblically sound teaching and church values.Community Engagement* Build relationships with members of the church family and surrounding community.* Support outreach initiatives to invite and welcome new attendees.Administration & Communication* Assist in administrative tasks related to ministry operations (planning calendars, communication with volunteers/groups, resource distribution).* Work with leadership to maintain clear and timely communication with staff, volunteers, and congregation.⸻Qualifications* A strong Christian faith and a commitment to the mission and vision of Pleasant View Church.* Experience in ministry or church leadership preferred.* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.* Ability to work collaboratively with church leadership, volunteers, and congregation members.* Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.* Background in ministry, theology, education, or relevant fields is a plus.⸻Personal Attributes* Christ-like character and integrity.* Passion for spiritual growth and discipleship.* Warm, welcoming presence with a heart for service.* Ability to mentor, encourage, and support others in their faith journey.⸻Work Environment & Requirements* Weekends and some evening work to support services and ministry activities such as AWANA and youth group. * Flexible schedule to support ministry needs.⸻How to ApplyInterested applicants should submit a resume and cover letter to:Kasey CopelandEmail: kasey_cplnd12@yahoo.comPhone: (765) 481-9640
