This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects supporting national security initiatives. As a Senior Python Developer at NT Concepts, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions that address complex data challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, DevSecOps, and other technical experts to translate sophisticated concepts into robust, scalable applications. This position is based in Chantilly, VA, or Vienna, VA, with the flexibility to work remotely within the DC Metro area. An active TS/SCI clearance is required to ensure compliance with security standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving hard problems, a proactive approach to learning, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.QualificationsActive TS/SCI clearance.Minimum of 5 years of experience with Python or similar programming languages such as Java, C#, or GoLang.Experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch, and testing tools such as PyTest.Proficiency in API design and implementation following REST standards.Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure, preferably with AWS.Strong knowledge of Git version control systems, particularly GitLab CI/CD.Proficiency working in Linux environments.Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies like Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.Experience supporting code reviews and writing unit tests.Background working in agile environments focused on delivering AI/ML software solutions.Understanding of AI/ML concepts, including model development, training, deployment, and integration.Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, MySQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, or Redis.Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Chef or Ansible.Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.ResponsibilitiesSupport the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of software systems aligned with project requirements and standards.Develop, test, debug, and document solutions with guidance from senior team members across disciplines including data science and DevSecOps.Ensure all software adheres to industry best practices for scalability, robustness, maintainability, and interoperability.Research emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to current projects, prioritizing tasks based on customer and business needs.Create and implement scalable and secure APIs conforming to REST standards to facilitate seamless data exchange.Design and develop microservices-based applications, leveraging containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.Participate in code reviews, contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines, and support automated testing efforts.Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions that support AI/ML workflows, including model training, deployment, and integration.Maintain comprehensive documentation of developed solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve software development practices and project outcomes.BenefitsNT Concepts offers a competitive benefits package designed to support the well-being and professional growth of our employees.
