MMI Engineered Solutions is seeking a Human Resources Professional to support high-volume hiring efforts at our Warren manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on temporary position is for professionals pursuing a career in Human Resources who want real-world experience in recruiting, onboarding, and training within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This role provides meaningful exposure to talent acquisition operations while directly supporting the hiring of hourly production and key support roles. The position will work closely with HR, Operations, and hiring managers and will gain experience using professional HR systems and best-practice recruiting methods.
What You Will Do
RecruitingCandidate Support
Assist with high-volume recruiting for hourly manufacturing and approved indirect support roles
Review applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates
Conduct initial phone or in-person candidate screenings
Assist with job postings using ApplicantPool and external job boards
Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communication
OnboardingTraining Support
Assist with onboarding activities, including new-hire documentation and orientation preparation
Support the coordination of new-hire training schedules and attendance tracking
Serve as a point of contact for new hires during onboarding to promote engagement and retention
HR SystemsAdministration
Enter and maintain applicant and employee data in ApplicantPool ATS and iSolved HRIS
Assist with proper completion and tracking of I-9 documentation
Maintain confidential records and recruiting metrics
What You Will Learn

I-9 compliance and documentation standards
Exposure to manufacturing workforce operations and HR compliance requirements
Qualifications
Have or are currently enrolled in a Human Resources, Business Administration, or related degree program (Junior-level or higher preferred)
Strong interest in recruiting, onboarding, and talent acquisition
Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; HR systems experience is a plus
Ability to work effectively in both office and manufacturing environments
