OverviewSenior Manager, Customs role at DP World. DP World Contract Logistics delivers tailored, scalable, and progressive solutions to customers in more than 100 global locations. The Customs Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of customs and FTZ compliance for the Perris site. This role protects the company from regulatory risk, optimizes trade operations, and supports supply chain strategies.How you will contributeAct as the primary liaison for all FTZ-related communications with CBP (Customs and Border Protection) and internal stakeholdersManage import activities, coordinating with customs brokers, vendors, carriers, and freight forwardersPrepare and submit FTZ documentation, including, but not limited to: e214 Admissions, Weekly Withdrawals (CF3461/CF7501), Zone Transfers (CF7512), and Quarterly and Annual ReportsOversee FTZ operations, including daily transactions, inventory reconciliation, and audit readinessUnderstand the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and ensure compliance with country-specific regulationsUnderstand partner government agencies (FDA, EPA, etc.) and manage compliance with trade programs (FTA, AD/CVD, Section 201/301/232, quotas)Monitor U.S. imports for timely customs clearance and proactively resolve issuesReconcile inventory records between internal systems and third-party FTZ platformsConduct internal audits and recommend process improvementsReview commercial invoices for outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and complianceMaintain and update the FTZ Procedures ManualEnsure complete and accurate FTZ recordkeeping for CBP audits and reviewsSupport the logistics and compliance team with additional duties as assignedCreate and maintain instructions and documents processes in own responsibility areaQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in global trade compliance, international logistics, or customs compliance rolesExperience with customs processes and Customs Valuation, import/export compliance, including customs regulations and international trade, Preferential & Free Trade AgreementsEAR and ITAR experienceLicensed Customs Broker, Certified Trade Compliance Specialist and/or Certified Customs Specialist preferredExperience developing and implementing import/export compliance programsStrong teamwork skills and experience working with complex matrix teams in an international arenaComfortable working in a fast-paced environment embracing changes dailyGood analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitudeAttention to detail while understanding the big picture and impact of decisionsPeople management experience preferredFamiliarity with ERP systems preferredCompensationDP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
