SMT Fixture/Tools Maintenance Engineer (A Group MLB PE 02)-Houston,TX

Purpose of the position Responsible for maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot fixtures of SMT (Surface Mount Technology, consumer electronics industry) fixtures(tools to support PCB or pressing PCB, such as: SMT Holder/Carrier/JIG).Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure fixture Reliability, improve yield, and improve fixture usage efficiency.Duties and ResponsibilitiesFixture design: analyze and design fixture designs using CAD software and propose improvements.Fixture purachse: Work cross-functionally (production,asset department) to enhance fixture arrived before built start.New fixture/tools IQC(incoming quality control):follow IQC inspection procedures to check the samples meet the specification requirement or not;Fixture/tools diagnose, repair: to ensure fixture performance and reduce maintenance costs.SMT fixture document management and technician training: formulate and compile operation standard, and training technician.Education and work experienceEducational Requirements: Associate degree or aboveWork Experience:1-3 years of experience in Fixture/JIG maintenance, tooling design, or precision equipment repair (electronics/smartphone manufacturing preferred).Working conditions1.Join a high-growth, innovation-driven team shaping next-gen consumer electronics.2.Work at the intersection of engineering, automation, and global operations.3.Modern, collaborative offices or labs with flexible setups emphasizing innovation and teamwork.Skills: Understand SMT process flow, proficient in using CAD drawing software, possess mechanical troubleshooting skills
