Buyer Planner - Finished Goods Supply PlanningLocation: AuburnDepartment: Supply ChainKARL STORZ is seeking a detail-driven, proactive Buyer Planner to manage Finished Goods inventory and supply planning for a defined product portfolio. In this mid-level role, you'll ensure we have the Right Product, in the Right Place, at the Right Time, at the Right Cost, from the Right Supplier-supporting exceptional customer service and strong operational performance.What You'll DoBuild and maintain demand and supply plans in partnership with Demand Planning, Marketing, and Product Management.Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate pricing, terms, and delivery commitments.Monitor supplier performance, expedite or delay orders as needed, and resolve delivery or receiving issues.Collaborate with Transportation, Warehouse, Quality, Customer Service, and Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies and keep product flowing.Support lifecycle management, product availability communication, and continuous improvement initiatives.Uphold FDA 21CFR820 requirements and contribute to our Quality Management System.What You BringRequired2-4 years of relevant experienceStrong systems and computer skillsExcellent communication, organization, and analytical abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and focusSolid math and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated, results-oriented mindsetAvailable for up to 10% travelPreferredBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceAdvanced Excel skills; Microsoft Office proficiencyExperience with MRP systems; SAP familiarity a plusWhat It Takes to ThriveStrong cross-functional communication and relationship-buildingFlexibility and adaptability in a fast-moving environmentRespectful, collaborative approach with colleagues across the organizationCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementWho we are:KARL STORZ is an independent, family-owned company headquartered in Germany's renowned MedTech manufacturing region.
