Maintenance Technician

Responsible for the Security of Pennswood Village and assigned maintenance of all the buildings and equipment. To perform all tasks as assigned on a daily basis by the Maintenance Manager. Responsible to assist in the safety and security of Pennswood Village and its residents. Receive, distribute and keep inventory of all items for which the Facilities Department is responsible. Minor carpentry work as assigned by Maintenance Manager. Install water lines and repair different parts of plumbing system. Basic repairs on Fire and Medical Panels. Ongoing knowledge of Health Center computer. Daily operational and equipment checks. Troubleshoot heat pumps, control circuits, thermostats, electric ranges, hot water heaters and appliance problems. Install electrical receptacles, toggle switches, circuit breakers and basic electric lines. Function as a first responder in emergency situations. Assist Landscape during snow emergency. Problem-solve emergency situations. Maintain current CPR certification. Full-time positions are offered: Very low cost for single-only benefits!!
