What We're Looking For
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.Current state licensure in good standing or eligibility for licensure in Florida.ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.Experience working in school-based settings preferred, including familiarity with IEP development and special education procedures.Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Minimum Requirements
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.Current state licensure in good standing or eligibility for licensure in Florida.Candidate must be able to provide in-person services at the school site.Acceptable credentials include CF (Clinical Fellow), CCC-SLP, or SLPA when matched to appropriate scope and supervision requirements.School-based experience required for SLPA applicants to be considered for supervision arrangements by the district; CCC-SLP supervision required if SLPA is hired and district permits.Experience sharing a caseload with another full-time SLP or co-coverage model preferred.
What You'll Do:
Provide speech and language therapy in a school-based setting.Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver goal-aligned therapy.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school teams.Maintain compliant documentation per district, state, and federal guidelines.
Assignment Details
Facility type: School.Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week.Work hours: 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM.Caseload model: Share caseload with another full-time CCC-SLP.On-site presence: In-person services required due to the nature of classes at the site.Acceptable clinicians: CF, CCC-SLP, or SLPA (SLPA must have school-based experience and meet supervision requirements).Start window: Anticipated mid-March start through the end of the school year, concluding May 28th.
