Join Mark Rite Lines Equipment Company (MRL) and work alongside our engineering team on real-world projects that impact machinery used around the world. MRL is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of high-performance equipment used for traffic paint application, line removal, and surface preparation. As a Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology intern, you'll get hands-on experience working across multiple departments while contributing to real engineering and R&D projects. What You'll Do Design and implement R&D projects Reverse engineer subcomponents Improve BOMs Apply DFM principles to older models Work with all departments, including engineering, fabrication, assembly, purchasing, etc Requirements Enrolled in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology SolidWorks Experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Basic measurement tool skills This opportunity is on-site in Billings Interest in Heavy Equipment Design and Manufacturing Willingness to learn and collaborate in a team-focused environment Benefits Pay Range: $20 - $22 DOE Possibility of full time offer at completion of the program Weekly pay!
