The electroencephalographic (EEG) technician uses diagnostic testing procedures with an electroencephalograph machine to measure the electrical activity of the brain, spinal cord, the peripheral nerves, or the somatosensory systems.Required Knowledge & SkillsEducation: High School Diploma or GEDExperience: One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.Licenses and CertificationsHEALTHCARE PROVIDER (CPR)Qualifications1 year certificate from a program accredited by the American Society of Electro-neurodiagnostic technologists preferred by not required.
