Job Description:Commercial Sourcing & Operations ManagerThe Commercial Sourcing & Operations Manager will lead end-to-end supplier management and procurement strategy across direct and indirect spend, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and continuity of supply.This individual serves as a critical cross-functional partner aligning Commercial, Supply, Finance, Quality, and External Manufacturing to deliver business objectives.What Are We Looking For?Minimum:3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or commercial roles within CPG, manufacturing, or related industriesStrong knowledge of sourcing processes, supplier negotiations, and contract managementExperience managing supplier performance across cost, quality, service, and riskExcellent written and oral communication skillsPreferred:Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fieldExperience in cost analysis and total cost of ownership, with exposure to co-manufacturing and/or packaging sourcingWhat Will Be Your Key Responsibilities?Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers to drive competitive advantage and ensure performance excellenceIdentify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers through proactive market research and industry networkingManage supply chain resiliency by assessing risks, developing contingency plans, and ensuring continuity of critical componentsOversee external manufacturing and co-packing operations, ensuring alignment on quality, capacity, and delivery commitmentsLead cost optimization initiatives to reduce expenses while enhancing quality and overall valueCollaborate on designing and implementing sustainable, resilient supply chain models balancing service, cost, and inventoryProvide standardized reporting on supplier performance, risks, and operational metrics, ensuring transparency and timely issue resolutionSupport compliance with Mars MQM, PQM, and EMQM standards where applicable including supplier auditWhat Can You Expect From Mars?Work with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by The Five PrinciplesJoin a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, todayBest-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars UniversityAn industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus#on-siteThe base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.
