Job Title:Senior Maintenance ManagerTrenton, SC, USFull TimeOnsiteWhat are the 3-4 non-negotiable requirements of this position?-Bachelor's degree -8+ years of relevant experience including 5+ years management or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. -Technical background/required to work holiday's (plant shutdowns)Responsibilities:• Develops and ensures adoption of short to mid-term strategy/results and execution of functional strategy for the operational direction of the department• Oversees continuous improvement/automation implementation activities• Leverages institutional knowledge for strategy development• Plans and coordinates maintenance engineering work, including review of mechanical and electrical engineering specifications• Performs engineering review of proposed new equipment designs to assess reliability, ease of maintenance, and availability of replacement parts• Liaises with production staff to coordinate repair work, statutory safety inspections and supply of new plant and equipment with production schedules• Participates in the installation and commissioning of new equipment• Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders• Influences, coaches, and develops direct reports/teams.
