Reporting to the CFO, this position will oversee grant accounting, compliance, reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis for a portfolio of government and privately funded programs. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional seeking meaningful, mission-driven work within a stable and collaborative organization.RESPONSIBILITIES:+ Manage accounting for multiple grants and contracts including revenue recognition, allocations, and budget tracking+ Prepare financial reports, invoices, reimbursement requests, and grant drawdowns+ Monitor grant spending and provide budget variance analysis and forecasting+ Ensure compliance with grant agreements, nonprofit accounting standards, and applicable regulations+ Assist with grant setup, renewals, amendments, and closeouts+ Reconcile grant-related accounts and maintain audit-ready documentation+ Support annual audits, single audit requests, and year-end close activities+ Partner with program leadership regarding grant financial management+ Assist with proposal budgets and special projects+ Identify process improvement opportunities and strengthen internal controlsWHY JOIN:+ Report directly to executive finance leadership+ Stable, mission-driven organization with strong community impact+ Collaborative culture and supportive leadership+ Strong benefits package including healthcare, retirement plan, PTO, and professional developmentFor immediate consideration, email your resume in confidence to Kelleigh.Marquard@RobertHalf com. Robert Half will never distribute your resume without your permission.Requirements+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field+ 3+ years of grant accounting experience within nonprofit, healthcare, government, or human services environments+ Knowledge of nonprofit accounting and grant compliance requirements+ Experience with federal grants and Uniform Guidance / 2 CFR Part 200 preferred+ Advanced Excel and accounting system experience required+ Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills+ Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPREFERRED:+ Behavioral health, healthcare, or social services industry experience+ Experience supporting single audits or federally funded programs+ Multi-program or multi-entity accounting experienceRobert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
