You could be progressing your career in a hands-on role at a global proprietary algorithmic trading firm; you'll be working on complex and interesting systems as part of a collaborative team with a flat structure where everyone has their voice heard. As a Data Center Engineer you will join a small team responsible for working closely with engineers and traders to optimize the firms' data center footprint for low latency and efficiency. Responsibilities will encompass Managing shipping and receiving hardware at the data center Inventory and documentation of data center hardware Installation of cable switches, servers and other data center equipment Travel to local data centers on a frequent basis Risk assessments of existing or new services and technologies Location / WFH: The company has offices based in New Jersey, you'll join the team there on a hybrid work from home basis (with some local travel to Data Centers). The whole global team meet up twice a year for a week of networking, fun and team building.
