Software Developer

PRSoft is the leading tax software provider in Puerto Rico. We provide tools and services for both professional and home users. This job posting is for a full-time employee position as a software developer. The candidate will be part of the team that actively updates and maintains our existing commercial applications. They will work side by side with senior-level developers that will be there to guide and mentor them. The team works in a hybrid fashion (1 day in person, 4 days at home), but new employees are required to go to the office more days while they are being trained and on-boarded. Minimum requirements for this job: At least 1 to 2 years of experience working with .Net (any language is acceptable, but must be willing to learn F#). At least 1 to 2 years of experience developing web applications in .Net. Some experience with Javascript and/or Typescript. Some experience or familiarity with relational databases (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, etc). Some experience working with web services or web APIs. Ability and desire to learn new languages, technologies, paradigms, tools, etc. At least basic knowledge of Angular (any version). Basic understanding of version control systems (preferably git). Ability to understand and develop working software without AI or tool assistance. Please note that this position is only available to residents of Puerto Rico. Candidates residing outside of Puerto Rico will not be considered. We currently do not have the ability to help with Visas nor provide relocation assistance.
