Job Overview JIT-EX OTR REGIONAL (2 years exp required) Jit-Ex, LLC currently has openings for OTR TEAM DRIVERS. OVERVIEW: You will leave Memphis with the load and live unload at your destination. We pay $20 detention pay after the first hour of getting live unloaded or live loaded. We pay 72¢per mile to the truck. . We have a great OTR department that will work with you and your personal life the best they can. . We aim to have our drivers home most weekends if job permits. DELIVERY LOCATION, Toledo OH, Elgin IL, Aurora CO, Arlington TX, Houston TX, Orlando FL, Mount Airy NC, Monroe OH, Topeka, KS. West Columbia SC, Locus Grove GA, Dallas TX. We deliver to more locations. Once the freight is delivered we regularly get a back haul returning to our Memphis or Nashville . Responsibilities Operate and drive different types of trucks including tractor-trailers & some flatbed. Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while adhering to scheduled routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Load and unload cargo as necessary, utilizing forklifts or other equipment when required. Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and at delivery sites. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving principles. Familiarity with operating various types of trucks such as dump trucks, tankers, roll-off trucks, and refrigerated trailers is preferred. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices while driving. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and clients. Ability to work flexible hours as needed based on delivery schedules. Must have 2 years Class A experience.
