Nonprofit Development Coordinator (Temporary)

Pay: $24.03 - $28.84/hour (based on experience)Overview: Our client, a nonprofit in Cherry Creek, is seeking a temporary (strong foot-in-door) Senior Coordinator to support the Community Development department. This position reports to the Senior Director of Community Development and the Community Development Manager.The Senior Coordinator will be responsible for:Providing logistical administrative support for small and large scale events, including volunteer and vendor support, communications, and timelines.Supporting revenue goals through daily donor online research, database work, filing, and marketing material organization of research projects, mailings, and communications.Schedule:Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm (1-hour unpaid meal break)Remote on FridaysLength: Approximately 3-months with the potential to go permanentDuties:Volunteers and VendorsFinalize volunteer roles, job descriptions, and required headcount with key stakeholdersCoordinate volunteer recruitment and outreachDevelop and distribute timely communications, including job descriptions, CADs, and tools needed for volunteer successEnsure vendor Statements of Work (SOWs) are provided and agreements are executed in a timely mannerEvent CADs (floorplans)Create, review, and finalize accurate CADs with key stakeholder approval well in advance of eventsOversee on-site room setup to ensure alignment with approved CADsTroubleshoot and resolve discrepancies quickly in collaboration with the company and venue partnersEvent CommunicationsSupport event-related website updates, social media, newsletters, mailings, and phone outreachProvide post-event, templated analytical reportingDonor SupportConduct daily online donor researchPerform in-database queries, research, and data cleanup projectsAssist with receipt letter creation and mailing processesDatabase SupportEnsure donor updates from Community Development are accurately and consistently entered into the database or shared with the Data Team in a timely mannerMarketing SupportConduct market research on key donor social media channels and handlesMaintain timely and organized filing of marketing materialsAdministrative SupportCoordinate meeting agendasTake, distribute, and archive meeting notesGenerate standardized, templated reportsMaintain organized digital and physical filing systems using established naming protocolsRequirements:Bachelors degree2 + years administrative experience and events support - experience working in hotel events is a strong plusHighly proficient in MS Office Suite - Excel, Word, OutlookAbility to type 50 + words per minuteProficient in utilizing donor database software such as Raiser's Edge, Salesforce, etc.Ability to use good judgement and ethical behavior in handling confidential material with sensitivity and discretionStrong writing, editing, and presentation skillsCustomer orientedStrong critical thinking and time management skillsAbility to travel for events and work extended hours to meet deadlines and attend company related events which may occur on evenings and weekendsJ.
