Mainframe Programmer Analyst
Overview:Job Title: Mainframe Programmer Analyst (691085)Location: Atlanta, Georgia 30303 RemoteDuration: Long-Term*MUST BE LOCAL TO METRO ATLANTA *This position is responsible for developing new and providing system maintenance and enhancements for the DHS Special Projects Team. The Special Projects team consists of 6 applications that include the Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT), Uniform Accounting System (UAS), Random Moment Sampling System (RMSS), Debt Setoff (DSO) programs, (EAP) Energy Assistance Program, and the New Hire (W-4) systems.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe COBOL & JCL to meet support and/or project requirements.• Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate businessrequirements into formal technical requirements and application code.• Work with IT support teams (ex. DBA's) to ensure support and project requirements are developed andsuccessfully implemented• Develop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate that application changes meettechnical specifications.• Responsible for full System Development Life Cycle• Work with business team to complete acceptance testing and participate in integration testing• Participate in on-call production support• Assist with the MF conversion to NTTData-AWSRequired Job Experience:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related area• 10 years of mainframe Development background in design, analysis, and coding: COBOL (CICS andBatch), JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, TSO, CHANGEMAN, AWS• IT technical background & mainframe programming experience• Experience in all components of software delivery with concentration in requirements, design anddevelopment.• Experience with NTTData-AWS technologies a plus• Ability to think analytically• Ability to work independentlySkills:
