We are a fast-moving team backed by strategic M&A and a principled, candid culture.A day in this roleMorning starts with cross-functional standups where you review dashboards, identify trends, and set priorities to reduce process and product non-conformances. Midday, you might facilitate MRB, drive root-cause and corrective actions, and coordinate with customers and suppliers to ensure requirements are fully met. Your afternoon could involve advancing APQP deliverables—building control and inspection plans, preparing PPAP and FAIR packages, and leading FMEA/PFMEA workshops—while planning and conducting audits of documents, parts, processes, products, and suppliers. Along the way, you mentor teammates, support training, and turn data into concise executive-ready summaries.What You'll AccomplishCut non-conformances through rigorous data analysis and clear reportingLead APQP quality planning: control/inspection plans, PPAP, FAIR, FMEA/PFMEAChampion continuous improvement with MRB and RCCA leadershipPartner with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing to validate quality requirementsOwn and support audits (internal, process, product, supplier, and customer)Coach peers and share best practices across teamsWhat you bringASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or two-year engineering-related degree with 5+ years in manufacturing quality (or equivalent experience)Background in Battery Production, Machining, and/or Electronic Assembly & harnessing is a plusUncompromising ethics and professionalismFacilitation, conflict resolution, and team leadership skillsAnalytical strength to interpret data, spot patterns, and guide decisionsClear written and verbal communication; able to craft executive-level presentationsFluency with ERP/MRP (Infor Syteline, SAP) and planning toolsExpertise in CAD/CAE tools or other data-dense interfacesProficiency with SharePoint and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint); advanced Excel requiredWilling to travel 10%–25% based on business needsWhere you can focus your expertiseLarge Format MachiningElectro Mechanical/DronesBatteryWhy Re:BuildWe are determined to positively impact the industries and communities where we operate.
