This role provides evaluations and treatments, along with associated clinical documentation, while maintaining service delivery standards and corporate compliance requirements.ResponsibilitiesAssess patient strengths, limitations, and needs using standardized measurement and evaluation tests.Develop and implement individualized treatment goals based on patient assessments.Administer and interpret clinical physical therapy services, adjusting treatment plans as needed.Maintain accurate and timely patient treatment records in electronic health systems.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans and self-care techniques.Participate in discharge planning and referrals for durable medical equipment.Supervise and provide direction to Physical Therapist Assistants during treatment sessions.Engage in departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureGraduate of an accredited school of physical therapy with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.Current license or eligibility to be licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of New York.BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross).Previous experience in an approved medical facility.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
