Associate Clinician

Company Description Parents United is a multi-agency, multi-disciplinary program that offers individual and group clinical treatment to anyone affected by sexual abuse in any capacity. We offer evidence-based psychological treatment for children, teens, and adults who have experienced sexual abuse, those who have committed sexual offenses, and their support systems seeking assistance. Role Description This is a forensic mental helath, part-time or full-time hybrid role, for an Associate Clinician at Parents United in Modesto, CA. The role involves day-to-day tasks related to forensic clinical practice with the flexibility to work remotely. This clincian will be responsible for doing mental health assesssments, providing individual and group servcies for adults, and other tasks as needed. Qualifications Active intern number with Board of Behavioral Sciences (i.e. AMFT, ASW, APCC)Experience in providing counseling or therapyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyKnowledge of ethical and professional standards in counselingExperience working with diverse populationsProficient in documentation and record-keepingCommitment to ongoing professional developmentThis role requires someone who is assertive and maintains clear boundaries.
