With over 150 years of innovation, we proudly stand behind iconic brands including Serta, Beautyrest, Simmons, and Tuft & Needle.What You'll Do:Lead and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations.Partner with plant leadership to investigate incidents and drive corrective actions.Oversee daily maintenance operations, including equipment, facilities, and grounds, while managing labor and maintenance costs.Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability.Supervise installation, repair, troubleshooting, and inspection of plant equipment and tools.Establish and improve maintenance procedures to support production goals.Train and develop maintenance and production associates as needed.Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement operational enhancements.Track and manage key maintenance KPIs such as OEE, PM completion, work order completion, and downtime.What You'll Bring:Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong problem identification and resolution skillsAbility to plan, prioritize, and organize work independentlyKnowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety regulationsMechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic expertiseAdaptability to shifting priorities with sound decision-making skillsCommitment to continuous improvement, quality, and operational efficiencyStrong communication skills and the ability to foster collaboration and a high-performance cultureAlignment with SSB's mission and core valuesAdditional Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent work experience5–7 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance and managing highly technical teams5+ years of experience in safety and risk programsLean/Six Sigma manufacturing experience (Green Belt preferred)Electrical certification a plusJob Factors & Work Environment:Exposure to typical manufacturing environment hazardsOccasional lifting of heavy or bulky productsRole is primarily sedentary with frequent walking throughout manufacturing and warehouse facilitiesUp to 10% travel required
