This nearshore role is ideal for developers based in Latin America who can collaborate seamlessly with our global teams during overlapping business hours. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into robust, scalable ServiceNow applications, customizations, and integrations while strictly adhering to platform best practices and development standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy custom ServiceNow applications and enhancements using out-of-the-box and scripted solutionsWrite, test, and optimize server-side code (Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, Actions) and client-side code (Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Scripts)Develop and customize Service Portal widgets, pages, and catalog items using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworksBuild and manage integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, IntegrationHub, and MID ServerLeverage Flow Designer and Workflow Editor to automate complex business processes and service requestsImplement version control practices using Git and support CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNowConduct unit testing, participate in peer code reviews, and ensure code quality, security, and performance standardsCollaborate with product owners, architects, and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver sprint commitmentsDocument technical designs, development processes, and provide clear handover knowledge to platform support teamsRequired Qualifications3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experienceExpert-level proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow's Glide APIProven experience building custom applications, complex integrations, and Service Portal componentsStrong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, multi-instance environments, and upgrade-safe development practicesExcellent English communication skills (written and verbal)Reliable high-speed internet and the ability to work independently in a remote settingBased in a LATAM country with availability to align with CST business hoursPreferred QualificationsServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or higherExperience with Automated Test Framework (ATF), ServiceNow DevOps, and CI/CD pipelinesExposure to additional modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps) and cross-platform data architectureFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira for sprint tracking and backlog managementPrior contract or consulting experience delivering enterprise-grade ServiceNow solutionsContract DetailsDuration: 6 monthsWork Arrangement: Fully remote (LATAM-based)Compensation: Competitive hourly/daily rate (based on experience and location)#ServiceNow #ServiceNowDeveloper #RemoteJobs #LATAMTech #Nearshore #ServiceNowDev #ContractHiring #ServiceNowCommunity #TechCareers #RemoteContract
