CompuCom TechnicianTop skills include deskside support and customer service, M-F 8am-5PM EST. This deskside support role involves hardware repair, troubleshooting of hardware and software images, IMAC tasks, with no on-call required. A+ certification is a plus, with a minimum of 2 years of experience. Responsibilities include maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals. Documentation, maintenance, upgrades, or replacement of hardware and software systems are also part of the role. Supporting and maintaining user account information including rights, security, and systems groups. Training employees, identifying, analyzing, and repairing product failures, ordering and replacing parts as needed. Handling network connection issues, tracking network connections back to network switches. Escalating problems and issues to a higher level of support if unable to resolve. Representing CompuCom in a professional and businesslike manner, and communicating effectively with customers and associates.
