CAD Coordinator

CAD Coordinator wanted for busy Engineering team designing water and wastewater treatment plants. The successful candidate will have an associate degree in CAD or related field; and at least three (3) years of professional computer-aided 3D drafting experience, including a minimum of one (1) year of Revit. Responsibilities: - Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using Revit - Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications - Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards - Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines - Maintain organized files and documentation of all CAD drawings - Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems - Conduct site visits to gather data and measurements for accurate drawings Qualifications: - Proficiency in Revit - Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices - Experience in creating 2D animations is a plus - Familiarity with building codes and regulations - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically - Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
