DescriptionElectrical Engineering Technician (Contract-to-Hire)Location: Scottsdale, AZPositions Available:13 positions 1st-3rd shiftPay rate: $33.93 1st shift$33.93 2nd shift plus 10% shift differential$33.93 3rd shift plus 15% shift differentialHours:1 st shift 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM typical (HMS 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM)2 nd shift 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM typical (HMS 2:30 PM to 12:00 AM)3 rd shift 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM typicalPosition OverviewACARA Solutions is seeking Electrical Engineering Technicians to support our client in Scottsdale, AZ. This role is focused on electrical and electronic systems within advanced engineering environments, including prototype development, testing, and validation of cutting-edge technologies such as laser/light transmission devices and specialized electronic test equipment.This is a hands-on role working closely with Engineering and Operations teams to support electrical design, circuit testing, troubleshooting, and system integration.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport engineering activities including electrical design, testing, checkout, and modification of prototype systemsBuild, wire, and troubleshoot electronic circuits, assemblies, and test equipmentInterpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit drawingsPerform debugging, calibration, and validation of electronic systems and componentsConduct and document electrical testing and data analysis to support engineering decisionsAssist in development of test setups, fixtures, and electronic test configurationsIdentify root causes of electrical issues and recommend corrective actionsDocument results, procedures, and improvements for engineering and production teamsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and testingJob RequirementsRequired Skills / Qualifications:Associate Degree.Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering technician or electromechanical support roles.Preferred Skills / Qualifications:Solid knowledge and proficiency in the use of fabrication tools.Ability to fabricate complex hardware.Solid knowledge of generally accepted technical theory.Commitment to ongoing professional development.Superior communication and collaboration skills.Additional Information:Requires the ability to obtain an Active Secret Clearance.Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.After you apply, you may receive a call or message from our AI Talent Scout about this role or other opportunities that match your skills and preferences.
