This unique position of Branch Flex Banker (Float) requires an individual to have previous banking experience and the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
This position supports a hybrid on-site/remote work schedule based on assignment. Travel is required within our Branch Network, with a home base at the Charlestown Branch. Premium pay will be considered.
What your responsibilities will be:
While actively engaging with the customer, process customer transactions accurately
Understanding and applying bank policies and procedures
Provide a superior banking experience for the customer through a relationship building approach
Proactively seek and recommend the best products and services to fit the customer's needs
Contribute to the achievement of sales objectives
Accurately and efficiently process and manage customer transactions
Understand and navigate various bank systems and equipment (ATMs, cash counting machines, cash recycler)
Qualifications that make you a good fit:
Flexibility to adapt to ongoing schedule and location changes, as well as business change
Enthusiasm for working with customers
Possessing the initiative to be successful
Proven experience in a customer service environment, prior banking, or financial services
An understanding of personal finance which includes bank products and services
Experience handling cash and processing transactions
Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate various banking computer systems
Experience dealing with confidential customer information
Strong interpersonal skills
The ability to initiate and maintain conversations that result in customer trust and banking relationships
Great listening skills to identify products and services to meet customer needs

Hours:
This is a 40-hour work week position. Availability required during these times:
Monday-Friday 7:45AM-6:15PM; Saturday 7:45AM-1:15PM
*Saturday availability required, frequency dependent on need
Must have reliable transportation, we offer mileage reimbursement for travel beyond base location.
Compensation:
A good faith, reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $23.00 - $28.57 per hour and the actual offer will depend on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, and education. This includes a $1.50 premium.
This base salary reflects one component of our competitive compensation package. This position may be eligible for an incentive plan and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
