Private Chef PositionPrivate Chef is needed for a private family/estate in the Detroit/Birmingham area. This position is mainly a Monday Friday, 8am to 5pm position (with weekends, holidays and nights during various times in the year).Private Chef Benefits:Full-time with generous salary and discretionary bonusHealth insurance package / 401k / PTOGreat quality of life and work-life balance opportunity.Exciting position with some unique opportunities.Private Chef Responsibility:Meal planning, grocery shopping and preparations/cook of all meals while maintaining high standards of taste and presentation.Source and order high-quality ingredients, keeping track of inventory and ensuring freshness.Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with managing inventory of food and beverages throughout all properties.Ability to adapt to new techniques, recipes, client preferences and requests. Lead others when needed.Private Chef Requirements:Must have a good understanding of various cuisines, ingredients, and cooking techniques. We are looking for previous experience working with private residential clients and (UHNW clients) Candidates should also have a good understanding of butchery, baking and pasta making skills. Fine dining experience is required.Capable to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.Willingness to work flexible hours when needed, sometimes including weekends, nights and holidays.Good verbal communication skills with the ability to follow instructions and relay information effectively. Leadership skills.Reliable personal transportation is required.
