Role Description The RSVP Vets Helping Vets (VHV) Coordinator and Driver Services Program Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Madison, WI. Responsibilities include managing and coordinating the Vets Helping Vets program, supporting veteran transportation services, and maintaining coordination with volunteer drivers. The role also involves assisting with scheduling, ensuring compliance with regulations, maintaining accurate records, and delivering exceptional support services to veterans in the program. Collaboration with community partners, maintaining communication, and providing updates to stakeholders are key aspects of this position. Qualifications Program coordination and scheduling, including experience managing volunteer-based initiatives and transportation servicesCustomer service and communication skills, with a focus on engaging diverse populations and community outreachAdministrative and organizational skills, including maintaining program documentation and managing systems efficientlyFamiliarity with veteran services and support mechanisms, with the ability to address their specific needsProficiency in relevant tools and software for record management and communicationEffective problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challengesAbility to collaborate across teams, work independently, and demonstrate professionalism in all interactionsA valid driver's license and knowledge of the Madison, WI area would be advantageous
