Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) Technician

Are you a credentialed respiratory professional looking for a flexible, well-compensated contract opportunity? Our growing pulmonary practice is seeking a PFT Technician to perform complete pulmonary function testing across our South Florida outpatient locations: Hialeah, Kendall, Coral Way, Pembroke Pines, and Homestead.What you'll do:Perform complete PFTs — spirometry, lung volumes, DLCO, and bronchodilator studies — per physician orders and ATS/ERS standardsCalibrate and verify PFT equipment before each sessionCoach patients through testing maneuvers to ensure quality, repeatable resultsDocument results in the EHR and flag abnormal findings to the supervising physicianTravel between sites per a set monthly schedule (one location per scheduled day)Qualifications & Requirements:Active Florida RRT or CRT license (FL Department of Health), OR CPFT/RPFT credential from the NBRC — per the Florida Respiratory Care Practices ActCurrent CPR/BLS certificationHands-on experience with complete pulmonary function testing in a clinical settingReliable transportation and availability to travel across South Florida (approximately 4 days per month)Bilingual English/Spanish requiredApply now or send your resume and credentials to pineda.ernesto@theresourcefulness.com
