Managed Markets/Gross to Net Finance Director

We strive to inspire and grow our company, our partnerships, our science, and our people, because when we do, we deliver more for patients.The Managed Markets/Gross to Net Finance Lead will be responsible for all financial aspects relating to the management, distribution and reimbursement of the company's healthcare products. This role will play a critical role in partnering with argenx colleagues in market access, distribution and finance to support our collaboration with payors, providers and distributors in ensuring healthcare delivery to patients. They will be actively involved in all aspects of Gross-to-Net (GtN) reporting, forecasts, and scenario planning, in addition, will also play a major consulting role for the monthly GtN finance closing process.This role will be based in the Boston area and in the office 1-2 days/week.ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for developing the Managed Market Team's vision and long-term goals, including how we can continue to drive the highest quality of financial reporting as we growOwn and collaborate cross-functionally with commercial leaders, market access, FP&A, 3PL partners and legal on new products, contract analysis, government policies assessing impacts to revenue recognitionResponsible for Gross-to-Net forecastingDevelop estimates to account for discounts, rebates, returns, allowances, and other adjustments that reduce gross revenueServe as a consultant for the month-end revenue close process for US product sales - advise on GtN accruals and trendsPartner with Market Access in reviewing all payor contractsSupport Market Access Operating Expense managementSKILLS AND COMPETENCIESTrusted business partner: possesses the technical expertise, communication skills and good judgement to provide executives with an objective and independent point of view on broader business issuesLeadership and management: demonstrated track record of being a part of a team of high performing finance professionals. Demonstrate a high level of emotional intelligence and self-awarenessEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS12+ years of relevant finance and pricing experienceBachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/EconomicsCPA PreferredBiopharma or healthcare industry experience requiredTechnical AccountingManaged Market (Revenue Recognition) in biopharma requiredExperience with Oracle Financial Software a plus#LI-HybridFor applicants in the United States: The annual base salary hiring range for this position is $176,000.00 - $242,000.00 USD. This range reflects our good faith estimate at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined using objective, inclusive, and job-related criteria such as relevant experience, skills, demonstrated competencies and internal equity. This means actual pay may differ from the posted range when justified by these factors. Because market conditions evolve, pay ranges are reviewed regularly and may be adjusted to remain aligned with external benchmarks.This job is eligible to participate in our short-term and long-term incentive programs, subject to the terms and conditions of those plans and applicable policies.
