As a(an) Echo Sonographer non-registered with LewisGale Hospital Montgomery you can be a part of an organization that is devoted to giving back!Job Summary And QualificationsPerforms accurate analysis of all cardiac anatomy and physiology and assimilates appropriate data necessary for interpretation of the study.Demonstrates application of principles of physics in utilization of ultrasound equipment and image acquisition.Seeks knowledge from other staff and physicians in an effort to improve skill, knowledge and to prepare for taking the registry exam.Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize workload.Demonstrates ability to assist physician and other staff when requests for information or support are made.Demonstrates proficiency in operating all ultrasound systems and other non-invasive equipment with knowledge of basic troubleshooting.Demonstrates ability to work independently and in a team environment.Contributes to the improvement of the department.Responds to staffing needs in other patient care areas as directed.Other duties as assignedWhat qualifications you will need:ExperienceRequired: Allied health, CVT or nursing background.Preferred: Previous experience in cardiac sonographyEDUCATIONRequired: Allied Health, CVT or nursing educationCERTIFICATIONRequired: BLS within 90 days of employment; RDCS registry once requirements have been metPreferred: Pediatric registry; ACLSBenefitsLewisGale Hospital Montgomery, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
