Environmental SuperintendentPosition OverviewThe Environmental Superintendent will oversee and manage environmental compliance and remediation projects, ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role involves coordinating construction activities with environmental requirements, leading a team of professionals, and implementing best practices in environmental management.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee environmental remediation projectsEnsure compliance with environmental regulations and guidelinesCoordinate with construction teams to integrate environmental controlsLead and mentor a team of environmental professionalsConduct site assessments and prepare environmental reportsDevelop and implement remediation plans and strategiesMonitor project progress and ensure adherence to budgets and timelinesCollaborate with stakeholders to facilitate project executionConduct training sessions on environmental safety and compliancePerform cost estimation for environmental projectsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in environmental management or remediation (soil cleanup, demo/decon, or habitat restoration projects)Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirementsExperience in construction management and environmental oversightFamiliarity with USACE guidelines or training is a plusHAZWOPER certification preferred but not requiredExperience in soil remediation and cleanup processesAbility to conduct effective cost estimation for environmental projectsStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOSHA 30hr training is a plusUSACE/DoD contract experience is a plusBenefitsCompetitive compensationFull health insurance benefits (medical, dental, vision)401kPTOPaid HolidaysCollaborative environmentpositive work cultureStrong growth/advancement opportunitiesMuch more!
