Computer Aided Design Designer

Task 1 - Electrical CAD DesignThe Subcontractor shall create and maintain electrical models, wiring diagrams, schematics, and panel layouts using project-approved CAD software.CAD software may include AutoCAD Electrical, Autodesk Inventor, KiCadThe Subcontractor shall review and revise designs based on engineering feedback, design reviews, and approved engineering changesRequired QualificationsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting/Design, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience producing electrical CAD designs using Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Electrical, KiCad, or equivalent software.Demonstrated experience developing manufacturing-ready electrical documentation, including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and wire or cable schedules.Experience developing and maintaining revision-controlled engineering documentation within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or Product Data Management (PDM) systems.Working knowledge of electrical engineering principles, electrical components, schematic development, and wiring practices.Familiarity with applicable industry standards and codes relevant to electrical design activities.
