General Maintenance Worker II Parks And RecThis position is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair work in the parks and recreation department. Duties include general maintenance, landscaping, snow removal, and equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be detail-oriented, and possess good communication skills. Key responsibilities include: Performing routine maintenance on parks and recreational facilities Maintaining and repairing equipment and tools Assisting with landscaping and groundskeeping tasks Clearing snow and ice from parks and facilities Operating various types of equipment including lawn mowers, snow blowers, and shovels Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in maintenance or landscaping preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor For more information, please contact the parks and recreation department directly.
