The company’s portfolio of core technologies and products offers unique capabilities in high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and remote sensing applications.Position DescriptionQCi is expanding its IT operations team and seeks a skilled, on-site System/Network Administrator at our EM4 facility.This role is responsible for day-to-day support of employee endpoints and servers across Windows, macOS, and Linux; cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365; and a variety of network devices and applications. As part of a larger IT organization, role will also support QCi operations across the company based on business needs and the candidate’s capabilities.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support to employees across a range of technologies, includingEndpoint operating system support for Windows, macOS, and LinuxEmail, messaging, authentication, and popular >span class="TextRun SCXW99935350 BCX0">party applicationsWindows Server applications, such as Microsoft SQL ServerWork with >span class="TextRun SCXW99935350 BCX0"> team to support Microsoft 365 across all QCi sitesSupport on-premises hardware servers and related systemsSupport highly available, enterprise-grade network infrastructureDesign, procure, and deploy infrastructure systems for offices, labs, and other facilitiesSupport compute, network, and storage systems for the manufacturing teamWhen needed, work with QCi software and hardware teams to assist with product security hardening during design and testing phasesRequired Skills and ExperienceEducation and ExperienceBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field preferred, but not required5+ years of experience in IT or a related fieldTechnical and Professional ExpertiseExperience in cybersecurity, network administration, DevOps, cloud administration, systems administration, or a combination of these areas is strongly preferredSkillsWindows system administrationBackup and recovery, disaster recovery planning, and disaster recovery testing experienceFamiliarity with SOC 2, CIS, SOX, or other compliance frameworksLAN and WAN networking experience, including Layer 2 switches, Wi-Fi access points, firewalls, VLANs, cable management, and troubleshootingStorage administration experience, including network-attached and direct-attached storageExperience managing DNS, registrar interactions, email/SMTP, and other core internet systemsExperience with authentication, VPNs, identity providers, and certificate managementExperience installing and supporting party applicationsAbility to work effectively with technical and business staffPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting IT needs in manufacturing sites, production environments, labs, or other operational facilities where uptime, equipment connectivity, and business continuity are criticalExperience working with manufacturing teams to support systems used for production, engineering, quality, inventory, security, access control, or facility operationsCompTIA A+, Security+, Network+, or similar industry-recognized technical certifications preferredQuantum Computing Inc.
