Python Senior Technical Lead - DevOps

Experience Required: 5+ YearsAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Backend Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable backend services, APIs, and calculation engines that power critical business solutions. This role is ideal for someone passionate about Python development, Generative AI, cloud technologies, automation, and software engineering best practices. You will collaborate with architects, product owners, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance applications while leveraging AI-driven solutions to improve engineering productivity and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and services using Python. Build and enhance RESTful APIs using FastAPI or similar frameworks. Develop reusable libraries, utilities, and modular software components. Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases, queries, indexes, and transactions. Implement automated testing strategies including unit, integration, regression, and API testing. Utilize Generative AI and intelligent automation to streamline development workflows and improve team productivity. Deploy and support applications on Microsoft Azure environments. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Ensure application security, performance, monitoring, logging, and compliance with engineering standards. Translate complex business calculations, dependency models, and scientific rules into robust software solutions. Collaborate within Agile teams across multiple time zones.
