Machine Operator - Manufacturing (Min. Starting Pay $21.35)
Job ResponsibilitiesWorking with production machinery, machinery, hand and power tools.Setting up and checking products to confirm if they meet specifications.Performing preventative maintenance on production machinery.Additional ResponsibilitiesWorking with production equipment in an industrial environment.Working with machinery, hand and power tools in a fast paced work environment.Working with an organization that provides the necessary training to complete the job and advance your career.Qualifications / RequirementsPrevious Machine operation experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.Possess a mechanical aptitude; ability to use a large variety of hand tools and basic knowledge of power tools, forklifts, welding equipment, and cutting torch.Ability to work overtime as necessary.Additional QualificationsYou will be working with production supervisors and operating various machinery to meet production needs.Determining parts to be manufactured based upon orders and stock.Observe and maintain machinery operation and identifying and defects or malfunctions.Multi-tasking and cross training in other departments and machines.PHYSICAL ASPECTS / WORK ENVIRONMENTRegularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk, hear and see.Regularly lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold & heat, risk of electrical shock, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
