East Texas OB/GYN opening Federally qualified health center with 6 locations in East Texas City population of 107,000 Group offers services in Family medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Women s health Located 90 minutes from Dallas, TX and 3.5 hours from Houston, TX Start date asap Federal Student loan incentives available Traditional OB/GYN doing mix of inpatient and outpatient. Clinic schedule consists of 15- and 30-minute appointments with one-hour appointments for certain in-clinic procedures Competitive base salary plus incentives for additional income. Clinic hours are 7:45 am 6:00 pm Each physician has four 24-hour hospital shifts per month and is in the clinic approximately three 8-hour days per week ( in clinic on days when physician is not on call or post call, averaging 3 clinic days per week) Post call days are off. No clinic duties when on call. Group has 4 OB/GYN s in the call rotation now (3 full-time and 2 are part-time) Group uses independent contractors for additional call coverage. If unable to get coverage, then the group offers $125/hour worked up to $3,000 for a 24-hour shift. Hospital call is 8 am 8 pm Physicians deliver a total of about 100+ babies a month at local hospital (130 last month) J-1 sponsorship available through the HHS waiver program or H1B cap-exempt sponsorship available BE/BC American Board of OB/GYN Competitive benefits, sign-on, PTO and relocation package
