Agile Project Engineer

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration and operation of complex systems in a fast-paced Agile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAgile Development: Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as iteration planning, iteration demos, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to contribute to team goals and objectives.Documentation: Maintain up-to-date system documentation in Confluence, including interface definitions, system diagrams, and mission use cases.Collaboration: Work closely with the government product manager and software developers to ensure system designs align with customer and technical objectives.Integration & Testing: Support the integration system services with external systems.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving system efficiency and scalability through innovative approaches and tools.Other ResponsibilitiesSystem Design: Develop and document system architecture, components, and interfaces to meet project requirements.System Interfaces: Become an expert in the system's interfaces and identify key integration points.QualificationsBachelor's degree in systems engineering, or equivalent years of experience.An active Secret clearance is required.8–10 years of experience in systems/software engineering or a related role.Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.Hands-on experience with DevSecOps tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Jenkins, …).Knowledge of scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar).Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
